The Patufet by Pilarín Bayés, new protagonist of Ecogots

The artist Pilarín Bayés, illustrator of mythical literary characters of the Catalan popular culture, has collaborated with Ecogots to create an attractive pack whose protagonist is the Patufet, one of the most beloved characters of children’s literature.
Who hasn’t sung at some time that… Patim, patam, patum, hombres i dones del cap dret. Patim, patam, patum, no trepitgeu en Patufet. The Patufet, also called Garbancito in some parts of Spain, is an endearing and very small character who sings without stopping to avoid being stepped on.
Well, the mythical illustration of the Patufet created by Pilarín Bayés appears in the new Ecogots product pack with the aim of raising awareness among children of the importance of reusing resources and introducing small changes in our consumption habits to try to reverse the alarming environmental situation we live in. Very happy to add this cup to our collection of reusable cups!
Patufet Ecogots Pack
The attractive Ecogots children’s pack consists of a 250 ml cup with a drinking lid and another cup with a capacity of 500 ml with two lids: one with an opening for drinking and the other without a hole to turn the cup into an original airtight container, ideal for transporting breakfasts, snacks, liquids or any other snack.
Like the rest of Ecogots products, the Patufet pack illustrated by Pilarín Bayés is made from rice husks and biodegradable polymers. In addition, both the two cups in the pack and their respective lids are food-safe, reusable, microwave and dishwasher safe and ideal for enjoying hot or cold drinks.
Patufet cups have a shelf life of 2 years, since after that time a biodegradation process is activated by the action of air, light and humidity that lasts approximately 12 months. After this time, the product decomposes completely without leaving residues or microplastics that could contaminate our planet or harm our organism. But if we want to dispose of the cups or lids after these 2 years, we can always recycle them in the yellow container.
