FAQs about reusable cups

At Ecogots we strive to offer you products designed with a lot of love and sustainable materials. To help you learn more about how we support more responsible consumption and what role our products play in this process, below you will find the most frequently asked questions.

What material are Ecogots cups made of?

They are mostly made of rice husks and the rest of the material is polypropylene. Their main component makes them look so nice and so "eco". They may look like cardboard, but they are not. They are reusable and recyclable.

Are they dishwasher safe and at what maximum temperature?

Of course, they are. They are reusable cups, so they can be washed like any other utensil.

Does the ink wash off?

No, our inks adhere firmly to the cup and will not rub off. The designs remain as they were designed on the first day, even if you use them every day.

Can they be microwaved?

Yes, no problem. They can withstand powers up to 900W and their qualities are not adversely affected.

Are they soft because they contain rice husks and less plastic?

No, they have some flexibility, but that does not mean they are soft (far from it). They don’t break and they are resistant, withstanding the use you need to give them without any problem.

How many times can you reuse them?

Well, you can reuse them as long as you want, just like any other reusable plastic container. They are resistant.

Why are there no transparent cups like glass or conventional plastic cups?

Because of our formula with Oryzite and PP, it is impossible to obtain a completely transparent cup. The raw material itself has a light brown colour and at best we can obtain a semi-translucent brownish glass. With this explanation, we even further corroborate our ecological character.

Can they be recycled and where do they have to go?

Yes, if the customer decides not to use it anymore, he has to put it in the yellow container. You were probably wondering why it is not deposited in the brown bin, right? Well, it's very simple. They contain 60% organic matter. The rest is polypropylene, which is not organic. Therefore, as it is not a 100% organic product, it cannot go in the brown bin.

We can also recycle it at Ecogots. Find out more.

How many inks can be used to personalise the design on the cup?

We recommend using 1 ink designs. We believe that this way we maintain the ecological character of our brand. However, if a customer wants to increase up to 4 inks, it can be done. We use environmentally friendly products with as little impact as possible.

Is it possible to produce cups in special colours?

Ecogots are predominantly natural in colour, but we have expanded the range of colours. We have opted for lighter, more pleasant colours with a more ecological character to maintain their status as an eco-product.

If a customer wants a special colour, they will have to contact us to discuss the case.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

We have packs of 6 units. For custom orders, the minimum order is 50 units.

What is the approximate delivery time?

Between 7 and 10 days is the time it will take to have the cups with you!

If for any reason it is not possible to meet the estimated time, Ecogots will contact the customer to define with him the delivery dates that best suits him.

Do you accept returns?

We do not accept returns on personalised products.
