FAQs about our reusable cups

At Ecogots we strive to offer you products designed with love and sustainable materials. To help you learn more about how we support more responsible consumption and what role our products play in this process, below are the most frequently asked questions.

Ecogots cups, what material are they made of?

These cups are mostly made of rice husk and the rest is polypropylene. Their main component makes them look so nice and they are "eco". They may look like cardboard, but they are not. They are reusable and recyclable.

They can be washed in the dishwasher? At what maximum temperature?

Of course. They are reusable glasses, so they can be washed like any other utensil.

Does the ink wash off?

No, our inks adhere to the glass firmly and do not rub off. The designs remain as they were designed on the first day, even if you use them daily.

Can they be microwaved?

Yes, there is no inconvenience. They can withstand powers up to 900W and their qualities are not adversely affected.

Are they soft as they are biodegradable products?

No, they have a certain flexibility, but it does not mean that they are soft (far from it). They do not break and are resistant, withstanding the use you need to give them without any problem.

How many times can they be reused?

Well, you can reuse them as long as you want, just like any other reusable plastic container. They are resistant, more than they look like.

Why are there no transparent cups like glass or conventional plastic?

Because of our formula with Oryzite and PP, it is impossible to obtain a totally transparent glass. The raw material itself has a light brown color and at best we can obtain a semi-translucent brown glass. With this explanation, we further corroborate our ecological character.

Can they be recycled? Which container should they go to?

Yes, if the customer decides not to use it anymore, he has to deposit it in the yellow container. Surely you were wondering why it is not deposited in the brown container, right? Well, it's very simple. They contain 60% organic matter. The rest is polypropylene, which is not completely organic material. Therefore, as it is not a 100% organic product, it cannot go in the brown garbage can.

We can also recycle it to Ecogots. Contact us for more information.

If they finally end up in the environment, do they pollute?

No, Ecogots products are made with biodegradable materials and leave no micro plastic residues. They decompose into a wax that is digested by fungi and bacteria. It is harmless to the environment and living beings.

How many inks can be used to personalize the design on the cup?

We recommend 1-ink designs. We believe that this way we maintain more the ecological character of our brand. However, if a customer wants to increase to 4 inks, it can be done. We use environmentally friendly products with the least possible impact.

Can cups of special colors be made?

Ecogots are predominantly natural in color, but we have expanded the range of colors. We have opted for pastel colors, more pleasant and with a more ecological character, which allows to maintain its status as an eco product.

If any customer wants a special color, please contact us to study the case.

Is there a minimum number of units to order?

Packs of 6 units are available. For customized orders, the minimum order is 50 units.

What is the approximate shipping time?

Between 7 and 10 days is the time it will take to have the glasses with you!

If for any reason it is not possible to meet the estimated time, Ecogots will contact the customer to define with him the delivery dates that best suits him.

We accept returns?

We do not accept returns on customized products.
