Ecogots is committed to 100% reusable eco-friendly packaging

Life evolves, our needs change and our consumption habits change. That is why at Ecogots we have decided to improve our packaging, making them 100% reusable ecological products and forgetting about their biodegradable capacity. A concept much more appropriate for other uses, such as the transparent film used to wrap food.
The Ecogots personalized cups continue to maintain their sustainable and environmentally friendly character, with a percentage of rice husk in their composition of 60% (the remaining percentage is polypropylene, as before). They will continue to be very resistant and will have a much longer useful life, as they can be reused for as long as the consumer wishes. In this way, we will better amortize the economic investment of the purchase of the cups.
Environmentally friendly, non-biodegradable packaging
And you may ask, why are Ecogots no longer biodegradable? Well, we have removed the additive that activated the degradation process after 2 years of product life, the well-known Lyfecycle. Therefore, the cup will no longer degrade.
From now on, we will be able to reuse them for many more years. Like any other reusable cup, we can wash them in the dishwasher, heat them in the microwave or even subject them to low temperatures. Everything that an Ecogots cup provided until now, but for a much longer period of time.
Why have we decided to go for this change?
Extending product shelf life
We have opted to manufacture a 100% reusable product, composed mainly of rice husks, with the aim of increasing the number of uses. From now on, Ecogots cups become a product as resistant as cups made entirely of plastic, but much more sustainable and environmentally friendly.
100% reusable cups made of 60% less plastic
Ecogots cups are made of 60% local rice husks, specifically from the Ebro Delta, a raw material also called Oryzite, and 40% polypropylene. This percentage is much lower than the quantities used in all-plastic packaging. Therefore, with this change in composition, we want to promote the consumption of 100% reusable resistant cups made of much more sustainable materials and less harmful to the environment than those composed solely of polypropylene.
Reusable packaging means less waste
Many 100% biodegradable products are thrown indiscriminately in unsuitable places, such as forests or beaches, but because they have the ability to decompose, they cannot be abandoned anywhere! With this change in composition, the consumer must deposit the Ecogots cup in the yellow container, in case he wants to dispose of it. But you can also, if you wish, give it a second life: return it to us and we will recycle it and manufacture new products.
With these changes we want you to enjoy our Ecogots cups for longer. And don’t just throw them anywhere… only in the yellow containers!
