At Ecogots we strive to offer you products designed with love and biodegradable materials. To help you learn more about how we support more responsible consumption and what role our biodegradable products play in this process, below you will find the most frequently asked questions.
They are cups that are made of 60% rice husks and the rest is made of biodegradable polymers. Its main component makes it look so beautiful and so "eco". They may look like cardboard, but they are not. What they are: biodegradable and resistant products for all necessary uses.
Of course. They are reusable cups, therefore, they can be washed like any other utensil. It is recommended not to exceed 80ºC. We have carried out resistance tests and the cups have withstood more than 200 washes without losing quality.
No, our inks adhere to the cup firmly and do not rub off. The designs remain as they were designed on the first day, even if they are biodegradable materials.
Yes, no problem. They support powers of up to 900W and their qualities are not negatively affected.
No, they have a certain flexibility, but that doesn't mean they're soft (far from it). They do not break and are resistant, enduring the use you need to give them without any problem.
Tests have been carried out and 200 uses have been reached without the cup being damaged. In addition, within its 2 years of life until the degradation process begins, the cup is still reusable. It complies with current regulations so that it is so.
Due to our formula to achieve a biodegradable product, it is impossible to obtain a completely transparent cup. The raw material itself has a light brown color and at best we can obtain a semi-translucent cup, such as the 500 ml one. With this explanation, we further corroborate our ecological character.
Yes, from the time they are purchased until 2 years later, if the customer decides not to use it anymore, they must deposit it in the yellow container. Surely you will wonder why it is not deposited in the brown container, right? Well, it's very simple. They contain 60% organic matter. The rest are polymers, which, although they are biodegradable materials, are not organic. Therefore, as it is not a 100% organic product, it cannot go to the brown container.
No, Ecogots products are made with biodegradable materials and do not leave microplastic residues. They break down into a wax that is digested by fungi and bacteria. It is harmless to the environment and living beings.
We recommend doing 1 ink designs. We believe that this way we maintain more the ecological character of our brand. Even so, if a client wants to increase up to 4 inks, it can be done. We use products that are friendly to the environment and have the least possible impact.
What we do not do are designs that encompass the entire cup, such as IML, since the sheets used would take millions of years to degrade and this is not our philosophy.
The natural color predominates in the Ecogots, but we have expanded the range of colors. We have opted for pastel colors, more pleasant and with a more ecological character, which allows us to maintain its status as a biodegradable product.
If any client wants a special colour, they should contact us to study the case.
We have packs of 12 units in natural color and without customization. For custom orders, the minimum order is 50 units.
We work with very tight stocks since, being a biodegradable product, we don't keep them in stock for more than 15 days. If the order can be served with the quantities we have, within a maximum period of 7 business days we will proceed with its shipment. Our transport agencies deliver in about 3-4 working days.
If for any reason the estimated time cannot be met, Ecogots will contact the client to define with him the delivery dates that best fit.
No. Given their special nature and their biodegradable composition, they are products made to order and we do not accept returns once made.
